Silicon Valley High School provides High School Students or Home Schools with innovative, relevant, and compelling Accredited English 9, 10, 11 and 12 Courses that are designed to meet the common core curriculum and are mapped to the relevant academic standards. At a cost of $125 Per 10 Credits, Silicon Valley High School provides the high school courses: English 9, Part 1, English 9, Part 2, English 10, Part 1, Enlgish 10, Part 2, English 11, Part 1, English 11, Part 2 and English 12, Part 1, English 12, Part 2. All courses are tailored to be both Interesting and Engaging for high school students in Grades 9-12. These Video-Based courses are Self-Paced and Teacher-Supported by credentialed teachers. Our educators not only deliver the curriculum but also actively engage with students by answering questions, grading assignments, and offering guidance and feedback in an online format for all English courses.
SVHS is a Fully-Accredited private high school. Our Students do Not Have any Issues Transferring Credits From SVHS to Their Current High School, but we always recommend checking with your counselor. Please find our online English Courses below.
ONLINE ENGLISH SUMMER COURSES
Video-Based
Many students prefer watching videos to reading textbooks and all of our English courses are video-based. We choose engaging content that is both informative and entertaining to watch.
Self-Paced
Courses are self-paced to accommodate each student’s schedule. Some students prefer working outside traditional school hours, allowing them to study at any time. A timeline is provided with each course to help students pace themselves.
Teacher-Supported
Assignments are graded and feedback is provided by credentialed teachers. Students can submit questions and receive answers from their teachers by email. Students can also book one-to-one videoconference based tutoring sessions.
