The SVHS Accredited Learning Center program pairs our accredited online high school with trusted local education centers around the world — so students get the best of both: rigorous online learning and real, in-person support close to home. Note: the centers are accredited by SVHS to support SVHS students, not accredited as a school by an accreditation body.
Silicon Valley High School delivers a fully accredited U.S. high school education online, so students anywhere in the world can enroll. The Accredited Learning Center program adds a local layer to that experience: independently owned education centers, operating under their own brand alongside the “Silicon Valley High School Accredited Learning Center” designation, that welcome students and families in person.
It is one program that serves three groups at once — students who learn best in a blended environment, educators who know their local markets, and SVHS as it extends accredited U.S. education worldwide.
SVHS supplies the academic backbone. Local centers supply premises, staff, language, and community trust — the things an online school cannot replicate from a distance.
SVHS is a private online high school accredited by Cognia and WASC — the same regional bodies that accredit traditional schools. An SVHS diploma is a U.S. high school diploma, recognized by colleges worldwide, including every Ivy League school and the full University of California system.
A learning center doesn't change what students earn; it changes how supported they feel earning it — with on-site guidance, test preparation, and college counseling in their own community.
The same network that gives a student a place to study close to home gives a local educator a way to grow — and gives SVHS a way to reach new communities without building schools of its own.

Offer an internationally accredited U.S. diploma without building a school from scratch.
Reach new communities at the speed of local partnership.
The relationship is simple: SVHS provides the academic backbone, and the local center provides the human, in-person layer. Each does what it does best.
SVHS delivers all instruction, grades all work, and issues all credentials directly. Each center's own tutoring, counseling, and support services remain its own.
Students take SVHS courses online — video-based, self-paced, and teacher-supported, with AI tutoring available around the clock.
A welcoming place to study, on-site encouragement, test preparation, and college counseling tailored to each family's goals.
With the family's permission, center staff can follow a student's progress in the learning platform and step in with the right help at the right time.
Issued by SVHS and recognized worldwide. Through the dual-diploma pathway, students can even earn it while staying enrolled in their local school.
Local partners bring what no institution can build from a distance: deep knowledge of their market, established relationships with families and schools, and a trusted presence in the community. Paired with SVHS's accredited online academics, that local strength lets the program reach new communities far faster than either side could on its own.
The structure aligns three things that usually pull against each other — academic quality, local fit, and speed. SVHS keeps the academics consistent worldwide; partners contribute the expertise and relationships that make a program genuinely belong in its community.
The goal is a focused set of strong centers in priority markets, each supporting real, enrolled students — growth measured by depth, not sprawl.
It's an independently owned local education center, operating under its own brand, that is authorized to support students enrolled in SVHS's accredited online programs. Families get the academics of a U.S. accredited high school plus in-person guidance close to home.
Yes. The diploma is issued by Silicon Valley High School, which is accredited by Cognia and WASC — the same regional bodies that accredit traditional U.S. high schools. It is recognized by colleges worldwide, including every Ivy League school and the full UC system.
All instruction is delivered online by SVHS and is self-paced, so students can learn from anywhere. A learning center adds in-person support on top — a place to study, encouragement, test preparation, and college counseling. Families choose how much of that local support they want.
It lets a student earn a U.S. accredited SVHS diploma while remaining enrolled in their local school. Students complete a defined portion of their coursework through SVHS, which opens doors to universities worldwide alongside their home-country credential.
Each center is an independent local organization — not owned by SVHS. Centers keep their own brand and run their own business, while meeting SVHS's standards and completing its certification so families receive consistent, well-supported guidance.
Selectively, and on quality rather than scale. SVHS looks for established, financially sound education organizations with suitable premises, qualified staff, strong safeguarding practices, and a management philosophy compatible with its own. There is no minimum size requirement.
Not yet. We're currently working with local partners to get them established.
We'd be glad to talk. The process begins with a conversation and a readiness review, followed by a structured pathway toward accreditation. Reach out through the contact options on this site to start that discussion.
